We’ve been rather quiet lately on our blog and social media – not because we forgot about our OMG fans and customers – but because we’ve been working around the clock to improve the customer experience we’re known for. As of April 1 2015, our Cleveland and Akron offices are independently owned an operated. Big deal, right? Wrong! We know how frustrating it can be to try to speak with someone at the facility you ordered from, only to end up speaking with someone at another store. In the past, we all worked cooperatively to answer calls and customer concerns so occasionally that’s how it worked out. This won’t be an issue any more! When you call our offices, you’re now prompted to select the location that services your area and you’ll be connected directly to that location…simple as pie.
To clarify, our Cleveland facility (located in Willoughby) only services Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain Counties. Our Akron office will handle all orders for Summit, Stark, Medina, Portage & Wayne counties. While this may be a minor inconvenience for some customers who pick their items up, it’s a definite upgrade in the way we handle customer inquiries, calls, payments, orders and the fulfillment of orders.
This means that a customer service representative you always deal with might not be able to help you out on future orders, but we promise that they’re just as nice at the other location! This also means that you’ll need direct all mail (including payments) to the appropriate facility. Cleveland mail should be directed to : OMG , 4855 E 345th St Willoughby OH 44094. Akron mail should be sent to: 1643 Massillon Rd Unit C Akron OH 44312.
Don’t worry – we’re not going to leave you hanging if you have a problem. We still communicate regularly between offices and will do everything we can to ensure a smooth transition.
